Childersburg, AL. - Charles "Rudy" White, age 73, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Joyce White; son, Matt White (Kim); daughter, Ryan Northcutt (Mark); grandchildren, Gunner Northcutt, Brooks White, Reid Wallis, Lainey Wallis, Ella Northcutt; great-grandchild, Riggs Wallis; sister, Ann White; brother, Tony White (Ginger); sister, Lisa Kelley; sister, Wendy Fix (Ken); brother, Chris White (Shea); and his fur granddaughter and couch buddy, Bailey Belle (BB).
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Oliver and JoAnn White.
Rudy was a 1970 graduate of Sylacauga High School where he played right guard for the 1969-1970 State Championship football team. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an aircraft mechanic.
A visitation for Rudy will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Dale Abrams officiating.
Rudy will be laid to rest in Talladega Springs Cemetery, Sylacauga Fayetteville Highway, Sylacauga, AL.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony White, Chris White, Ken Fix, Mark Northcutt, Reid Wallis, Matt White and Donnie Duke. Honorary pallbearers are Gunner Northcutt and Brooks White.
