We love you all so much and are praying for you today and days to come

Chrissy was one of those rare souls who carried light wherever she went, gifted with strength and warmth. Determined she built a successful restaurant through sheer dedication. Her greatest achievements were never measured in business, it lived in the love she gave so freely. Chrissie was a devoted mother,grandmother,wife,daughter and sister, roles she carried with grace and deep love. Chrissy was always there when someone needed her,forever putting others first, the quiet martyr who carried so much while asking for so little.She cared especially for her dear father, they were each others shadow, giving him strength, her time and her heart without hesitation. There were moments when her heart felt so heavy from the way she was treated by those close to her, yet her spirit never hardened. She would say to me “but I can’t not love her, that’s just the way she is” that was Chrissy she loved unconditionally, a heart that loved without limits.Now she rests in peace, wrapped in eternal love, she is surrounded by light finally receiving the same care and gentleness she gave so freely in this life.I will miss our chats, hearing your voice Chrissy and the bond we shared from afar. Love you dearly, your love lives on.

Chrissy was such a lovely Woman. She was compassionate and giving.  She  gave the best hugs ever.  She loved her family and Sisters. Her children, and grand baby. God bless you all as you navigate life without her.  Love you Sweet lady.

I choose to remember the fun and laughter that Chrissy brought to any room she entered. Our late nite talks over a glass of wine or a dance off in the kitchen to break up the craziness after a dinner rush! 
Chrissy you  will forever be the Queen of the sprinkler! 

Tony, Sophia, Sylas and sweet lil man Cooper will be in my thoughts and prayers forever as you navigate this crazy world without you in it!

Chrissy was one of the first welcoming souls when our family moved to Sylacauga back in 2008. Our little family loved going to Giovanni's, but especially our 3-year-old! Chrissy and her parents were so warm and genuine that our little Bekah wanted to spend her 4th birthday dinner with the Cannestras. (This was back when Giovanni's was on Old Sylacauga Hwy). When Chrissy found out, she made a big to-do, and she even went to the store next door to get her a birthday balloon! 
I don't think Chrissy ever forgot anyone, and she made so many people feel loved and seen. I will never forget her, and I'm praying for her whole family during this difficult time.

The first time I saw Chrissy, she was asleep in the back of her parents car in a cute white and yellow dress and  patent leather shoes.. The Cannestra’s had come to look at the house they would eventually buy and become my neighbors.  
The girls became so much more than  just my neighbors, they were family. I loved being immersed in the chaotic lives of four girls.  The bickering, teasing, laughter and love these girls have for one another, I was envious.  I attribute my wonderful childhood memories to these four women. Lisa, Amy, Besty and Chrissy, the love and laughter will forever be a part of me. Rest easy Chrissy and hug my Amy for me. Much love, Stacy

So many memories, so many times we chatted, talked, and laughed.  Chrissi was one that would put her heart into everything. She had the biggest smile and the most positive attitude. I will never forget the hugs and the laugh.  Chrissi will be missed and my heart broken just a limit more.  I’m saying prayer for Tony, the children and family.

My heart goes out to Chrissy’s family and friends. We worked together at Subside Deli  in Salisbury, MD when we were nothing but babies! I remember the hot summer nights after work we would jog her neighborhood in Nutters Cross in an effort to keep each other in shape.  I have missed her over the years since she moved to Alabama but enjoyed following her Facebook for all of the family updates. She was a woman of faith, follower of Jesus,  even as a teenager and young adult. She was always positive no matter what was going on and I’ll always remember her smile. Her passing is so shocking but keeping   Isaiah 57 verse 1-2  in my mind for comfort. I’ll be Praying for her family. Love you Chrissy! Kristen Moore
