

Cody BaileySylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Cody Bailey, 18, will be Friday, October 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Paul Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Kahatchie Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mr. Bailey died on Monday, September 28, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.E. and Verdelia Bailey; grandfather, Jerry Lewis and grandmother, Brenda McDonald. He loved to hunt, fish and drive his truck. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of Diamond Mountain Hunting Club and Big Penn Hunting Club. Cody was an organ donor, he saved five lives. He was proud of his Fayetteville family. He was an awesome and loving son and brother. He loved his friends and was loyal to them. He loved spending time with his girlfriend, Holley and loved his church family.He is survived by his mother, Deanna Ford, husband Larry of Fayetteville; father, Kenny Bailey of Fayetteville; sister, Mandy Kratz, husband Scott of Vandiver; brother, Cole Ford of Fayetteville; sister, Dixie Ford of Fayetteville; grandmother, Edith Lewis of Fayetteville; grandparents, Jerry and Marsha Ford of Fayetteville; great-grandmother, Betty Curtis of Childersburg; uncles and aunts, LaVaughn and Wanda Sue Bailey of Childersburg, Michael and Christy Lewis of Fayetteville, Warren and Robbie Ford of Fayetteville, Jeff and Michelle Mastin of Sylacauga and Corey and Lindsay Dingman of Sylacauga; girlfriend, Holley Austin of Childersburg; niece, Kayla Kratz of Vandiver; nephews, Nolan Kratz and Gavin Kratz of Vandiver.Visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.The family would like to give a special thank you for all your support and love, especially to our wonderful community of FayettevillePallbearers will be Cole Ford, Hunter Limbaugh, Jarrett Morris, Elijah Guy, Zach Wydemon, Tyler Hay, Hayden Carpenter, Byran Osbourn, Dustin Ingram and Shane Blankenship.
