"When I was thirteen years old I was visiting my grandma, Aunt Darlene, and Uncle Dale. At the time I was going through a lot as a child. I ended up being mad about something and went outside to ask if Uncle Dale needed any help with the yard. Uncle Dale was cleaning up Grandma's yard from the leaves and twigs that fell from the wind. He looked at me and said "Of course!"  I remember how kind and happy he was. When I was upset he made me laugh and just gave me a hug. Uncle Dale was such a kind and happy soul. I always remember him smiling. This may be a small memory, but it's one I always hold onto the most. He will always be remembered as the happiest Uncle.He will be truly missed and never forgotten."

My dear friend  you left too soon!  My fondest memories will always be your signature laugh and big contagious smile. 
You always greeted everyone with a smile and sincere “ how are you”!  
You were a true professional in your crane and work, I remember when you approached me about getting involved in cranes. Your son followed you and has earned his notoriety as well. You are both well thought of! 
I think back to the early Alaska years when your generous family took our family in and let us live on your land as new Alaskans.  Your mom and dad were true friends and it passed to you and your siblings. 
Dale, you will be missed by all whose life you crossed paths with.  Your are a man of honesty, integrity, honor and gave to all selflessly. 
Your family, Carrs are always a name arises in family discussions, a name that evokes fond  memories of our youth and later years. 
We love all of you and won’t forget your sincere friendship.
