David Johns Sr.

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for David Johns Sr., 72, will be Friday, August 12, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will be in Hollins Cemetery in Hollins, AL.

Mr. Johns died Monday, August 8, 2022 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Graham, grandparents, Wesley& Jessie McCain, and brother, Mike Graham. He loved the outdoors and was a big Alabama football and Yankee baseball fan. Mr. Johns loved listening to Rod Stewart.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Johns; two daughters, Pam Johns, Tammy Johns Isbell (Edward Potts); son, David (Amber) Johns Jr.; seven grandchildren, Brittany Simmons, Kaiyla Isbell Zeringue, Brianna Isbell McBrier, Blake Johns, Kelsey Isbell, Lani Johns, Leland Johns; eight great-grandchildren, Bentley Scott, Konrad Zeringue, Dustin Simmons, David Johns, Kanyon Zeringue, Abby Johns, Brooklynn McBrier, Klaudia Zeringue; and four siblings, Jennie Doherty, Mark Graham, Valerie Greene, and Janice Durphy.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Blake Johns, Michael Floyd, Jason Devine, Taylor Scott, Mann Lightsey and Stephen Baird. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Grommes and Kevin Barnett.
