Deanna McPherson Betts of Childersburg, born June 4, 1965, went to be with the Lord in his Devine Kingdom September 18, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm, with a funeral service Thursday September 22, 2016 at 1pm at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. She is preceded in death by her father; Frank McPherson, mother; Grace McPherson, brother; Del Mann. She is survived by her husband; Mark Betts, sons; Brian Hopkins, Scott Hopkins, Cole Betts (Laura), daughter; Jerica McLellan (Keith), grandchildren; Molly, Ryan, Max, sisters; Cheryl, Debbie, Sandy, and Lois, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Deanna was a devoted wife, mother, nurse and friend. She devoted her life to taking care of others. She loved to rescue animals and shower them with love and to also shower her patients with love at the hospital. Deanna enjoyed spending her spare time camping, singing, and laughing with family and friends.
