Diana enriched the lives of those around her with her warmth, wisdom, and creativity. After earning her BS in Education from Auburn University, and her Masters of Library Science from the University of Alabama, Diana dedicated herself to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. After retiring from 30 years in public education, she became the corporate librarian for a private college for 6 years.
Upon retirement, Diana found great joy in spending time with her cherished grandchildren. An avid painter and bibliophile, she encouraged their curiosity, imagination, and creativity. Diana was also a musician, playing the clarinet and oboe since high school.
Though she may have departed from this world, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A private family graveside service will be held. A Celebration of Life service will be at her home on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 2-5 PM.
