Mr. Donald Ray Clifton age 71 of Sylacauga, Al passed away on August 1, 2014 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Clifton will be on August 3, 2014 at 3PM at the Curtis and Son North Chapel. Visitation will be from 2-3PM at the North Chapel. Rev. Tommy Thornton will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Weogufka Family Worship Center Cemetery. Survivors are Wife:Joyce Clifton.Daughters:Kathy Calloway (Alan); Belinda Abney (Tim);Connie Moore (David).Brother:Morgan Ray Anthony (Karen).Sisters:Jackie Wood (Mike); Shelia Cooper (Donnie)Sister-in-laws:Nell Anderson; Pam Cox (Jerry); Judy Lee (Phillip).7 Grandchildren.Mother-in-law:Mary McGrady.Background:Mr. Clifton was married to the love of his life for 53 plus years.He was generous kind-hearted and loving father and everyone he came in contact with. He was a lifetime resident of Sylacauga. he attended Weogufka Family Worship Center where he served as a deacon for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Luther Clifton and Lula Clifton Anthony; son: Wayne Clifton; and Brothers: Randall and Johnny Clifton.The family would like to thank Janet Pody and Danelle from Amedysis Hospice Care for all they have done.Pallbearers: Alan Calloway, Tim Abney, David Moore, Troy Calloway, Hunter Calloway, Braxton Abney. Curtis and Son North Chapel will direct the service.
