Rev. Donald H. Grice

Donald is survived by his wife, Shirley Faye Grice; his daughters Mary Elizabeth Grice Kelly (Guy) and Debra Suzanne Grice Jones (Michael); his brother Luke WIlson Grice; his grandchildren Kaylan Kinman Johnson (Christopher), Julianna Margaret Kelly, Jasilynn Shiree Watkins (Dre), and Nina Diane Jones, and his great grandchildren Guy Stone Bryant and Oliver Bryant Watkins.

Donald was preceded in death by his father Hershel Wilson Grice and his mother Magalene Grice; his brother Calvin Paul Grice; and his sisters Ann Grice Simmons and Carolyn Marie Payne Barnes.

A visitation for Donald will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Unity Freewill Baptist Church, 501 Morris Avenue, Sylacauga, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Donald will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Lewis Lackey, Troy Queen, Will Kirk, Kyle Kirk, Dre Watkins and Jeremiah Thomas.

Donald was saved at the age of 15. He began preaching at the age of 16. He then started pastoring at the age of 23 and continued until the day he passed.
