Funeral service for Donald James Tyler, age 73, of Sylacauga will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Reverend Max Buttram officiating. Intombment will be in Evergreen Mausaleum. Mr. Tyler was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. he loved his family, going to church, playing the guitar and fishing. He was retired from Kimberly Clark and was a Deacon at Oldfield Baptist Church. He is survived by his Wife: Sara Juanita Tyler of Sylacauga, (2) Sons: Donald James Tyler, Jr. and wife Linda of Sylacauga, Christopher Warren Tyler of Sylacauga, Daughter: Anita Ann Lucas and husband Greg of Sylacauga, (4) Brothers: Bobby Tyler of Sylacauga, Jackie Tyler of Sylacauga, Roger Tyler of Sylacauga, Billy Tyler of Sylacauga, Sister: Gail Roland of Sylacauga and (2) Grandchildren: Kristina Nicole Deason and Ashlyn Grace Tyler. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
