Doris Brown MooneySylacauga - Funeral service for Doris Brown Mooney, 62, will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Mark Deason officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, Alabama.Mrs. Mooney died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at her residence.  Mrs. Mooney was a long time member of Odena Baptist Church.  She was a member of WMU and Ladies II Sunday School Class.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Mooney, brother, Charles Brown and sisters, Jean Swafford and Barbara Hughes.She is survived by  her sons, Bryan Eugene Letcher, wife Christi of Weogufka and Jason Dewayne Letcher of Sylacauga; daughter, Angelia Dawn Letcher of Sylacauga;  step-daughters, Sheila Brown of Sylacauga and  Patty Pullen of Sycamore;  sisters, Louise Edwards of Sylacauga, Jane Bailey of Alexander City and Jenell Shell of Sylacauga; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Steve Shell, Steve Jones, Sam Griffin, Jeremy Edwards, Michael Edwards, William Edwards and Delmer Edwards.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the service.
