Dorothy Anne Gilliland Chappell

She is survived by her husband, Terry Chappell; her children, JoAnna McCabe (Jim), Terry Chappell Jr. (Dana), Kevin Chappell (Laura), and Stephanie Carden (Kevin); her grandchildren, Melissa Manns (Jeremy), Amber Lunsford (Patrick), Jacy Smith (Ryan), Payten Mayhugh (Aaron), Matthew Chappell (Hailey), Christine Chappell, Nici Runner (Eric), Ryan Carden, Amanda Carden, and Haley Giddens (Jesse Camp); and her great-grandchildren, Addison Manns, Hudson Manns, Jameson Manns, Alex Queen (Summer), Brynlee Queen, Noah Chappell (Serenity), Brody Chappell, Liberty Mayhugh, and Olivia Mayhugh.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Gilliland; her mother, Pearl Gilliland; her brothers, Gene Gilliland, Jimmy Gilliland, and James Gilliland; and her sisters, Sue Price and Mary Francis Gilliland.

Visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, on April 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and the funeral service will be held at Victory Church Lincoln, 360 Blue Eye Springs Rd, Lincoln, Alabama 35096, on April 19, 2026, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jason Gilbreath officiating.

Pallbearers will be Noah Chappell, Hudson Manns, Matt Chappell, Terry Chappell Jr., Kevin Chappell, and Kamden Habbin.

Interment will be at Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery, 107 Church Lane, Eastaboga.
