Edna Conn Conn Hickman

Edna Conn Hickman passed away peacefully on October 30, 2017, at the age of 97. Services will be held Friday, November 3, 2017, at First United Methodist Church of Sylacauga at 2:00 PM with Reverend James Haskins, Reverend Byron White, and Reverend Todd Henderson officiating. A graveside service is to follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Hickman is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Leonard Perry Hickman. She is also survived by her two daughters Suzanne Phillips (Paul), Sheilah Davis (Tommy) and her three precious grandchildren Jackson Davis, Mattie Phillips, and Mitchell Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Harvey Lee Conn, Mattie Edmondson Conn, Laverne Conn Harry, and Sara Conn Martin.

Edna retired from the Avondale Mills Corporate office after 37 years of service. She was an avid fan of Alabama Football and Braves Baseball. Her favorite hobbies were playing bridge, painting Santas, and needlepoint.

Pallbearers will be Jeff McGrady, Steve Sprayberry, Tony Royster, Jake McPherson, Jimmy Reynolds, Chris Roland.

The family would like to thank her caregivers for their love and dedication.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Sylacauga, 105 East Spring Street, Sylacauga, Al. 35150.

Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
