

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Frances Pitts Malouf, 95, will be Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Sylacauga with the Dr. Rick Patrick, Dr. Larry Morrison, and Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. She will lie in state for 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mrs. Malouf passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Mountain View Lake Retirement Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Malouf, Sr.; son, George Malouf, Jr.; parents Carey and Myrtle Pitts; brother, Thomas Pitts; sisters, Mildred Miller, Sarah Moseley, and Lois Bannister; and granddaughter, Sonya Thornton. Mrs. Malouf was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylacauga, where she served in many capacities. She loved sewing, gardening, and especially traveling. In her lifetime, she traveled all 50 states, 44 different countries, and some more than once, including the Holy Land where she traveled four times. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be missed.
Mrs. Malouf is survived by her daughter, Jo Anne Coombs husband Rocky; sister, Marie Saxon; brother, Jack Pitts wife Ginny; sister-in-law, Anne Pitts; five grandchildren, Nikki Coombs, Anthony Coombs, Javan Coombs, Kerri Sanders, and Kamiel Rodriguez; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor Thornton, Tyler Sanders, Michael Sanders, Katie Sanders, and Jack Sanders.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Lottie Moon offering or the World Hunger Fund at First Baptist Church of Sylacauga.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Mountain View Lake Retirement Village and Amedisys Hospice for their enormous love and incredible care of Mrs. Malouf.
