Gail Minor Turner went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 3. Gail was born September 27, 1949 in Sylacauga. She graduated from Sylacauga High School in 1967. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylacauga where she joyfully sang in the choir and was a part of The Pitchford Sunday School class.
Gail was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Dot Harris and Linwood Harris, and her brother Mike Taylor.
Gail is survived by her daughter and son-in-love Amy and Scotty Lewis; her brother Greg Minor (Rita); her stepbrothers David Harris (Mandy), and Rodger Harris (Angie), her grandsons Jake Payton (Emily) and Zac Lewis (Lilly) and her 7 Great Grandchildren.
A special thank you to Dr. Khdair, Charity and her caregivers Jeanelle, Debra and Becky for their love and outstanding care.
A visitation for Gail will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 10 S Broadway Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Gail will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Dr. Rick Patrick.
