Gary Wayne HammondsAlpine, AL - Funeral service for Gary Wayne Hammonds, 73, will be Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Bill Dean officiating. Burial will be in Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Alpine, AL.Mr. Hammonds died Tuesday, February 1, 2011. He was a member of Tallasahatchie Baptist Church. He was also honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Euna Hammonds, his wife of 49 years, Janell Hammonds, brothers Jake Hammonds and Porter Hammonds.He is survived by sons, Rodney Hammonds, Jeff Hammonds and Darryl Hammonds, grandson, Dustin Hammonds, sisters, Betty Joan Noblitt and Peggy Deel, sister-in-law, Laura Hammonds of Orlando, FL, great-granddaughter, Haley Daniell Hammonds and numerous friends.
