George Raymond Edwards, age 78, of Childersburg, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. George was born in Sylacauga, Alabama.

George is survived by his son Jeff Edwards (Eva); his grandchildren Kimberly Edwards Johnson, Ray Edwards (Bailey), John Thompson (Kristen), Rachel Thompson (Dewy) and Steven Thompson; 9 great grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his son Steve Edwards; his father Ray Ross Edwards and his mother Estelle Ray.
