Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his brother, Aidian Griffin, mother, Charolett Wyatt, grandmother, Elizabeth Reeves, and father, George Irvin Griffin.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Holloway; son, Daniel (Susan) McSheridon; daughter, Patricia Butler (Shelby Watkins); two grandchildren, Dustin Butler, and Heather (Dylan) Williams.
