Gladys Christine Liner

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Gladys Christine Liner, 94, will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Mike Owen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Liner died Monday, October 10, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by husband of 47 years, James Albert Liner, son, James (Nelson) Liner, mother and father, four brothers and one sister. She was a faithful member of Sycamore Baptist Church and was a member of The Homemakers Sunday School Class, woman's mission union, Sunday School Teacher and a member of the choir. Mrs. Liner was also recently recognized as the oldest active member of the church.

She is survived by her daughter, Nora Liner Davis of Sylacauga; brother, Jimmy McGrady of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Mia Carter husband Joey, Heath Liner wife Tammy, Marisa Wideman, Christina Robinson husband Jason; 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday October 12, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Blake Liner, Matthew Liner, Gerald Liner, Barry McGrady, Tolbert McGrady, Jeff McGrady. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy McGrady, Jack Pomeroy, Jerry Webster, Randy Kissic, Ronnie McGrady and Winston Pruitt.
