Gracie (Grace) Mae Robinson NewmanSylacauga - Funeral service for Gracie (Grace) Mae Robinson Newman, 93, will be Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. R.L. Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery in Coosa County, Alabama.Mrs. Newman died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Coosa Valley Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by husband, Curtis Franklin Newman, Sr., six brothers and sisters. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She worked in the medical profession for some 28 years until her retirement.She is survived by her daughters, Eleanor Mae Fountain and Flora Blankenship both of Sylacauga; sons, J.P. Winston Blankenship of Mobile and Curtis Newman, Jr. of Sylacauga; granddaughters, Tricia Lynn Blankenship of Mobile and Crystal Dawn Newman of Sylacauga.
