Guy Ike or Buddha as I knew him was over 4 years a classmate, a section mate and a teamate and we also sailed together on the SS United States together.
He was a loyal friend and a brother!

Guy was the best husband that Nadine could have had.  He loved her so much and took such good care of her when she was ill. He has always been a wonderful brother-in-law to me and he will be missed by many.

I am a family friend from Sylacauga.  Laurene, Nadine's sister and I were in the same grade and have are still friends after all these years.  Nadine was a wonderful lady. I remember when she and Guy were married.  This past September, I attended the wedding of Laurene's son and was able to visit with Guy that evening.  He was a gentleman and gracious friend. Guy spoke so much that evening of Nadine and his wonderful memories of the life they had shared and after all these years he still missed her greatly. His glow as he spoke of Nadine was so sweet. I have fond memories of being able to visit with Guy again. May he rest in peace.
