Harry I. Brown, Sr.Harry I. Brown, Sr., 91, gentleman golfer and retired banker, hit his final shot at his “home course†on Elm Avenue early Tuesday morning, May 22, 2012. As was his style throughout life, he was smooth and sweet until the very end showing the dignity and class for which he is known. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24 at Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga from 6 pm to 9 pm with a memorial service at First United Methodist Church, Sylacauga on Friday, May 25 at 10 am. He is survived by two sons, Harry I. Brown, Jr. (Jamie) and John M. Brown (Kathey), three grandchildren, Harry I. Brown, III, Cathy B. Johnson (Paul), and J. Adam Brown (Vanessa) and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Harry Brown Foundation, Inc., 213 N. Norton Ave., Sylacauga, AL 35150.
