Montgomery, AL – In loving memory of our mother, Helen W. Bryant, age 94, who passed away on August 2, 2025. She was a devoted wife and loving mother.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. A strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a source of inspiration to us all. A woman of great faith, who instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Always quick-witted, with a playful spirit and a helpful heartfelt concern for every problem.

Among her many talents, she loved cooking, sewing, quilting and gardening. And who could win against her in scrabble, dominos or word search? She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Helen is survived by her children, Mitzi Carroll (Tony), Mark Bryant, Myra Beard, Joel Bryant; grandchildren, Jeremy Bryant, Gabriel Duval, Greg Beard, Zach Beard (Blair), Shea Bryant, Tamra Bryant, Orry Bryant (Jacki), Kady Bryant, Nicole Bryant, Rebecca Martin (Mike), Cameron Carroll (Kaylee), Ashley Beasley, Bradley Dean; great grandchildren, Camden Dennis, Payton Beard, Brett Beard, Jace Beard, Josie Beard, Kove Bryant, Locke Bryant, Luna Bryant, Michael Martin; and sisters, Charlotte Bryant, Betty Faye Williams, and Vera Jordan.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Hubbard Bryant; sons, Leslie Bryant, Franklin Bryant; mother, Annie Florence Williams; father, A. Q. Williams; sister, Sherrill Thornburg; and brothers, William “Bill” Williams, “Mickey” Thomas Williams, Olen Williams and Jerry Williams.

Mother you will be forever in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much.

A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mance McCarthy officiating.

Helen will be laid to rest in Rocky Mtn. Cemetery, Sycamore, AL 35149.

Pallbearers will be Greg Beard, Payton Beard, Orry Bryant, Cameron Carroll, Camden Dennis, Mike Martin, Tony Carroll and Thyno Zgouvas.
