Herbert M. Rogers Jr. “Jay” of Sylacauga, age 43, passed away April 30, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Rogers, father, Herbert Rogers Sr., Sister, Michelle Rogers Thrasher, brother, Michael Rogers (Kristina), nephews: Zac Mayo, Taylor Mayo, and Eli Thrasher, uncles, Sam McDaniel (Liz) and Billy McDaniel (Wife), aunt, Billie McDaniel, great aunt, Geraldine Murphy, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cupidene and Herbert Rogers and Hubert and Doris McDaniel, uncle, Jimmy McDaniel, and cousins, Angie Boston and Amy Thornton. Funeral services will be Friday, May 4, 2018 at Curtis and Son North Chapel at 11am. Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5pm until 8pm. Burial will be in Tallasahatchie Cemetery.
