Mrs. Hilda Carole Traylor Shoemaker died May 20, 2020 at her residence . She was born on August 20, 1939 in Alabama . Hilda was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea, Alabama . She graduated Childersburg High School in 1957. She was a loving wife and mother. Hilda enjoyed her flower garden, talking with people, swimming and traveling.
Hilda is survived by her husband, Ronald Shoemaker of Chelsea, Alabama and two children, her daughter Carole and son in law Peter Morosky of Chelsea; granddaughter Kaylee Morosky of Chelsea and son David Shoemaker of Chelsea and grandson Cameron Shoemaker of Birmingham, Alabama .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Jewell Traylor of Childersburg and her sister, Shirley Boyd of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Rev. Wayne Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
