Homer L. Smith Jr.

Homer is survived by his wife, Cindy Smith; daughter Courtney Smith; son Mason Adams; sister Elaine Wimmer (Ray), sister-in-law Barbara Smith; brother-in-law Ken Garner; and grandson Grey Adams.

Homer was preceded in death by his son Homer Lee Smith III "Skipper"; sister Darlene Garner and brother Walter B. Smith.

A visitation for Homer will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, 1315 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 2:00 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL.

Serving as pallbearers are David Runyon , Mike Smith, Ethan Weatherbee, Chip Edwards, James Gunn and Zack Duke.

He was a Proud Vietnam Veteran, who served his country with Pride. He was a loving father and husband, who was proud of his family. He served as a greeter at Home Depot, where he never met a stranger in the store.
