Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Howard Russell Butler, 74, will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11:00 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with Dr. Steve Heartsill officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mr. Butler died Monday, January 14, 2019 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Butler; parents, James and Hazel Butler; and sister, Barbara Faye Butler Hicks. Mr. Butler was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his two nephews, Joshua David Hicks, Jody Russell Hicks; brother-n-law, David Hicks; and friend, Gary Blair.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 16, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
