Jackie "Paw Paw Jack" Wayne Humphries

He is survived by his wife, Coleen Kelley Humphries, and his children: Caprice Buttram (Jeremy), Sheri Beane (Bobby), Tiffany Young (Layne), and Chelsea Dobson (Kyle). Jackie is also survived by his grandchildren: Austin Shiflett, Shyanne Chadwick (Landyn), Logan Beane (Kortni), Allye Buttram, JonBrady Buttram, Brody Young, Dalton Beane, Tyler Young, Kylee Young, and Penelope Dobson. His great-grandchildren include Addi Chadwick and Clay Chadwick. Jackie is also survived by his siblings: Brenda Curvin, Norma Newman, Gay Wood (Phillip), and Jason Humphries (Charlie), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Humphries, and his brother, Sherman Humphries.

He was a wonderful husband of 33 years. He was the best dad and Paw Paw Jack to his girls and grandbabies. He would do anything for anybody and there is a lot of people who would call him a dear friend.

Visitation will be held at The Tabernacle, located at 2911 Talladega Springs Rd, Sylacauga, AL 35151, on February 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 2:00 pm with Bro. Chris Sherbert and Bro. Joe Kelley officiating.

Jackie's final resting place will be Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, located at 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Gay, Tab Goggins, Tommy Goggins, Bubba Cain, Davey Edwards, David McMurphy, Lamar Vick, and Dale Ingram.
