James "Jim" H. Britton

Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gloria Faye Britton; his sons James Donnie Britton and William Dale Britton (Carla); and his daughter Tina Britton Smith; his grandchildren Brandon Castleberry (Allison), Shandale Britton (Julius), Karlie Britton, Kole Limbaugh, Christopher Smith (Lindsey), and Christina Smith and his 6 Great Grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother Mazie C. Britton and his father William Homer Britton; his brothers Robert Harold Britton and Ralph Brey Britton.

A visitation for Jim will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sycamore Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Jeff Weathers will officiate all services.

Serving as pallbearers are Hunter Mims, Christopher Smith, Brandon Castleberry, Ricky Burdett, Mason Gardner and Julius Pullen.
