He was a graduate of Ft Campbell High school and attended Jacksonville State. He enlisted in the army and served three tours in Iraq as an Infantryman and a combat medic.
He is survived by his daughter, Anna Ilaria Crysel of Derby, England; his parents LTG (Ret) James and Trudy Crysel of Fripp Island, SC; his sister, Kirsten Palmer (Phillip) of Kennesaw, Ga; nephew, James Palmer, nieces, Katherine and Elizabeth Palmer; aunt, Phyllis Cooper of Sylacauga, AL; uncles John Crysel (AnnaLee) of Brentwood, TN and Henry Eldridge (Sandra) of Tega Cay, SC.
A visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00. Burial will be at a later date at Fripp Island, SC.
