James (Bud) Harris

James (Bud) Harris, Sylacauga - Funeral service for James (Bud) Harris, 79, will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 11 AM, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery (Mausoleum). Mr Harris passed away at his residence December 23, 2011. He is preceded in death by Grady Harris, Sam Harris, Doris Jones (Harris). He is retired from Avondale Mills with 42 years of service. He was a handy man to friends, family and community, lawn mower repair, bulldozer and dump truck work, house trailer mover. Most people knew him best as "Bud" he was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are his wife, Emma Sue Harris; sons Rob Harris, Randy (JoAn) Harris, and Ray (Debbie) Harris; daughter, Brenda (Rick) Grubb, grandchildren, Chris Harris, Shannah Harris Fowler, Jason Harris, Johnathan Harris, Samantha Harris, Korey Harris, Khala (Dean) Harris, Chace Grubb, Emalee Grubb, Calab Harris; great grandchildren, Ella Fowler, Ava Fowler, Noah Holmes, Gracie Dean; brother, Billy Harris; sister, Jean Murray. Visitation will be at Curtis and Son North Chapel Monday December 26, 2011, 5-8 PM. NO FLOWERS, donations to; American Association For Cancer Research.
