Edward Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mr. Deason died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Deason and father, James F. Deason, Sr.He is survived by daughter, Jennifer Smith of Alexander City; mother, Loette McGuire of Sylacauga; step-daughter, Lynn Steel of Sylacauga; sister, Gina Yates, husband Randy of Alexander City; brothers, Ricky Deason, wife Kay and Teddy Ray McGuire both of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Amber Deason, Dakota Deason, Ceyenne Deason and Tanner Smith.
