James Lamar Kelley

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for James Lamar Kelley, 88, will be Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Tommy Bounds, Jim Popwell, and Jeffrey Scott officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Kelley passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a long time member of the Mignon United Methodist Church. Mr. Kelley loved his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and his church family. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sara Adams Kelley; daughter, Saran Kelley Scott husband Ray M. Scott III of Fort Mill, SC; granddaughter, Brandy Smith husband Justin of Sylacauga; three grandsons, Jeffrey Cleveland Scott, James Walter Scott, and Joshua Ray Scott, all of Fort Mill, SC; great-grandson, James Hershel Smith of Sylacauga; sister, Hazel Dale husband Willard of Panama City, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to Mignon United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 1273, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150.

Pallbearers will be Justin Smith, Jeffrey Scott, James Scott, and Joshua Scott.
