James Pelfrey, age 82, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021. James was born March 25, 1939 to Edith Collins Pelfrey and William Hoyt Pelfrey.

James is survived by his sons Rodney Pelfrey; Chris Pelfrey (Paula); and Tyrone Pelfrey (Rebecca); daughter Felisha Pelfrey Lowery; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Jannette Pelfrey; father William Hoyt Pelfrey; mother Edith Collins Pelfrey; one sister; and three brothers.

A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with a funeral service at 2:00 PM, and burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery

James was a proud member of the Masons, in Shannon Georgia for over fifty years.
