She is survived by her brother, Herman Olean Hickman and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Williamson, and brothers Earnest Lee Hickman and Jabe Garland Hickman. Janett was a nurturing auntie to all her many nieces, nephews and grands. She was a dedicated employee of the City National Bank for 23 years. She leaves behind a legacy of commitment, professionalism, and kindness that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. After a successful and fulfilling career, Janett retired from City National Bank to enjoying traveling with her beloved husband, Jerry. She loved oysters and hosting holidays when she was able.
A visitation for Janett will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with a funeral service to follow officiated by Rev. Rodney Frost. Pallbearers will be Nick Hickman, Brandon Hickman, Josh Hickman, Zach Hickman, D.J. Culberson and Phillip Haynes.
Janett will be laid to rest in Tallasahatchie Cemetery.
