Jean Delores Williamson Rayfield

February 23, 1937 – July 28, 2026

With profound love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Jean Williamson Rayfield, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, beloved sister, and faithful servant of God. Born on February 23, 1937, Jean lived a life filled with unwavering faith, unconditional love, and selfless compassion until the Lord gently called her home.

Jean was the heart and soul of her family. Her love was unconditional, her wisdom was immeasurable, and her strength came from an unshakable faith in God. As a mother, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her daughter, Brenda, instilling in her the values of kindness, perseverance, and trust in the Lord. The legacy of love she created continues through every generation of her family.

A devoted Christian, Jean's faith was not only something she believed—it was the way she lived. She served others with humility, grace, and a heart full of compassion. Whether offering a comforting prayer, a listening ear, or a helping hand, she reflected Christ's love in every aspect of her life. Her gentle spirit and quiet acts of kindness touched countless lives and left an everlasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Jean found her strength in God's promises and her peace in His presence. Through every season of life, she remained steadfast in her faith, becoming a source of encouragement, hope, and comfort for her family, friends, and church community. Her life stands as a beautiful testimony of God's grace and the power of faithful service.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. A. G. Isbell and Mrs. Catherine Isbell; her husband Wendell P Rayfield and the love of her life and first husband of 53 years, Charles T. Williamson, her brother, Buddy Isbell; and her sister, Jenny Stewart.

She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory: her loving daughter, Brenda Robinson (Tracey); her grandchildren, Nick Cleveland, Kayla Cleveland, and Morgan Cleveland; her five treasured great-grandchildren; her brothers, Sherrill Isbell (Lynda), Randy Isbell (Dee), and David Isbell (Wynelle); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her love. A special thanks for Amedisys for the exceptional care that was given to Jean while under your care.

Jean will forever be remembered for her warm smile, gentle heart, unwavering faith, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with those who have gone before her and is resting peacefully in the loving arms of the Savior she faithfully served throughout her life.

Visitation will be held at Valley View Church, 2000 Talladega Hwy, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, on August 1, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on August 1, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm. Rev. Keith Owensby.

Pallbearers will be Adam Honeycutt, Jeremy Honeycutt, Chris Gardner, Matt Gardner, and Daniel Wesson, and Jean will be laid to rest at Old Weogufka Cemetery in Weogufka.
