Mr. DeLee passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, LC DeLee and Mary DeLee Gallups; brother, Lonnie Lamar Marty DeLee; and brother, Ronnie Joe DeLee.

Jerry was beloved by his wife, family, and a host of friends. He loved his children with all of his heart. He was a favorite uncle with a great sense of humor and was a delight to all children. He was truly a good samaritan, sadly he lost his life trying to help a neighbor. Jerry was always willing to share his garden produce, share his tools, lend a helping hand, or just enjoyed having a talk on the porch with whomever. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Marie DeLee; son, William DeLee; two step-sons, Richard Brannon and Phillip Brannon; daughter, Gina DeLee (Tommy) Culver; 5 grandchildren; three brothers, Ellis (Patricia) DeLee, Larry (Zona) DeLee, and Billy (Sharon) DeLee; two sisters, Syble (Donald) Martin and Shelia (Ronald) Lackey.

Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
