Johnny enjoyed life and never shied away from learning something new. Whether he was fishing, hunting, barrel racing, traveling, or taking on a new challenge, he liked staying busy and figuring things out. He loved fast cars, watching NASCAR, cheering on the Auburn Tigers, and anything that involved skill and hard work.
He worked for many years in the electrical and maintenance industry and was known for being smart, hardworking, and good at what he did. Many people often said he was one of the smartest people they knew, especially when it came to fixing problems and understanding how things worked.
Over the years, several people shared that he gave them their start by teaching them skills, giving them opportunities, and helping them learn the trade. He enjoyed helping others and sharing what he knew with the people around him.
Johnny is survived by his children, Candice Reeves (Vin), Jennifer Carpenter (Matt), Muzzey Zeigler (Ashley), and Honey Z.
