Sylacauga, AL. - Josh Harris, age 41, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Josh is survived by his wife, Meghan Harris; two sons, Jarrett Harris, Creed Harris; parents, Laura Harris and Glenn Harris; brother, Bo Harris; grandmother, Carol Austin; two nephews, Ayden Harris, Kylon Russell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Amanda & Keith McDonald; sister-in-law, Autumn McDonald (Sean); brother-in-law, Patric McDonald (Kali); a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and awesome work friends, Jason Lumpkin, Curt Finley and Jeremy Brown; special person, Sonya Hale.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Austin; and grandparents, Franklin and Eloise Harris.
He spent many days at Talladega Superspeedway with his son Jarrett for the races. He loved going to the Smoky Mountains as much as he could, where he married the Love of his life, Meghan on August 2, 2007. In high school he played the snare drum in the marching band. His favorite time of year was Halloween and Christmas. Creed and him enjoyed their time together watching the Simpsons. He spent alot of time at Four Mile Farm for fellowship but more so for the green plums. Mr. Harris worked at Honda Manufacturing in Lincoln for 10 years.
A visitation for Josh will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Jason Gravette officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Matt Stevens, Clay Hammons, Paul Ellis, James Sparkman, Matt Thompson and Blake Dale.
