Sylacauga, AL. – Josh Smith, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Josh is survived by his wife, Angela Smith; children, Zander Hamilton (Brianna), Micaiah Harris; grandchildren, Oliver Hamilton, Brinleigh Hamilton; parents, Ike Smith, Cheryl Smith and Diane Kay (Scott); siblings, Darren Smith (Brooke), Kirk Tsosie (Kyla), Meagan Smith (Chris), Laycee Sherbert (Zack), Luke Sherbert, Mary Ann Rampage (JT), Tiffany Thompson (David); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him so much and his brothers in Christ through Farm Ministries.
Josh is preceded by his grandparents, Inez and James C. Smith, Rex Dennis, Elizabeth White (Charles) and stepfather, Shawn Sherbert.
A visitation for Josh will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Tabernacle, 2911 Talladega Springs Rd., Sylacauga, Alabama 35151. Followed by a funeral service Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Chris Sherbert and Bro. Joe Kelley officiating. Josh will lie in-state one hour before the service.
Josh will be laid to rest in Talladega Springs Cemetery, Sylacauga Fayetteville Hwy, Sylacauga, AL 35151.
Serving as pallbearers are Zac Myers, Derrick Smith, Jonathan Cross, Daniel Kennedy, Chris Rogers, Trey Ragland, Rodney Waller and Blake Carmack.
The family will accept flowers or donations made to Farm Ministries, 35 Pebble Point, Sylacauga, AL. 35151.
