Joyce Grice BowdenGoodwater, AL - Funeral service for Joyce Grice Bowden, 76, will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Hollins Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Gravette officiating.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.  Mrs. Bowden will lie in state at the Church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Bowden died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Jack" Bowden.She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Price, husband Eddie of Hollins; sons, Greg Bowden, wife Dorie of Stewartville and Tim Bowden, wife Sandra of Hollins; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.Pallbearers will be Mark Bowden, Nathan Price, Edward Price, Craige Melendez, Lathan Byrd Jr., Paul Watkins, Patrick Businell, Vern Ogle and Dan Kirkland.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
