Burial will be in Childersburg City Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mrs. Gibson died Friday, December 26, 2014 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Geraldine Pilkington; brothers, Jerry Pilkington and Thomas Pilkington and great-grandchild, Hagan Thrash.She is survived by her son, Wally Ward of Sylacauga; daughters, Christal Allen of Sylacauga and Melanie Simpson of Childersburg; sisters, Gloria Andrews of Birmingham and Joyce Gentry of Sylacauga; brother, Ricky Pilkington; grandchildren, Misty Goins, Candice Allen, Kayla Goins and Jeff Osbourn and seven great-grandchildren.
