Funeral service for Julia Louise Taylor Ragsdale, age 89, of Sylacauga will be Friday, October 15, 2010 at 2 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Reverend Calvin Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Ragsdale was preceded in death by husband: Homer Ragsdale; mother: Julia Elizabeth Harlin Taylor; father: George Barnes Taylor; brothers:
Barnes Taylor, Frank Taylor, Robert Taylor, Marvin Taylor, sisters: Blanch Barnett and Betty Hobbs. She was a member of Risers Chapel Church. She is survived by her 2 Sons: Ronald Ragsdale and wife Connie of Chelsea, Kendall Ragsdale of Anniston, 2 Brothers: Melvin Taylor and wife Betty of Sylacauga, Waylon Taylor of Gulf Shores, 3 Grandchildren: Steve Hinds, Rod Hinds, Ken Ragsdale, 5 Great Grandchildren: Bradley Hinds, Dalton Hinds, Zac Hinds, Matthew Ragsdale, Kenley Ragsdale. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
