Such a wonderful lady. She would tell me stories about her, MC, my mom and dad. They use to scare my dad. Those four hung out together before they had kids. She also dedicated her time to help my mom with the Enrichment Program at BB Comer.  Such a blessing to have known her. My condolences to MC, Matt and the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve.Mrs Grantham  was a precious lady , she  spoke with kindness  and care to me at a time i needed it most.I know she was a good wife,mother and friend to so many.Her beautiful smile and kind heart won't be forgotten .Condolences to you all..

My condolences to Kathleen’s family. She was my cousin, same age and we grew up together, in the summer when growing up she would come to my house and spend time and then I would go to hers. I loved her and Lou Neil more like sisters than  cousins. My heart breaks for her family but I know she’s no longer in pain and Heaven gained AN ANGEL

This sweet lady always try to keep me in line at school. She was our Oscar teacher we was so happy my senior year. I was able to stay out of Oscar that whole year 😂😂😂 She was one of my favorites at Fayetteville. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Kathleen was truly a gifted teacher! I use that word because that is what she was. Even though she didn’t get the official title or pay, she lived up to the title. In 1989, I transferred to BB Comer as the elementary principal. Kathleen was there to help me. She gave unselfishly of herself to the school, principals, teachers, and the STUDENTS. 
One of her favorite projects was the Summer Enrichment Program that she worked in with Beverly Ingram and Mary Barden Lee.  I know she is rejoicing in heaven with Beverly now! 

My life was enriched by knowing Kathleen. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Kat was one of a kind! She was my best friend and I knew no matter what that I could count on her to always be just a phone call away. We laughed and we cried together so many times. It is hard to imagine not being able to hear her laughter again. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. She touched the lives of many students, as well as teachers,  in the Talladega County school system. She always tried to see the best in everyone. She adored her two grandchildren, Alexa and Caine, and they were blessed to have such a wonderful grandmother. To MC and Matt  I send my love and sympathy. Sincerely,
