Mrs. Kay Frances Reeves

Mrs. Kay Frances Reeves, age 67 of Sylacauga, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. A visitation service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home's North Chapel. Funeral Service for Mrs. Reeves will be held on Sunday, May 30th, in the chapel with the Reverend Craig Ogle officiating. Interment will follow in Millerville Cemetery. Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by a son, Billy Wayne Sargent and a daughter, Roxanne Peoples. She is survived by three sons: Michael Sargent of Talladega, Gary Everett Sargent of Acworth, GA and Jason Ray Reeves; one daughter, Melinda Kay Reeves of Sylacauga; two brothers, Larry Mizzell and Earl Mizzell, both of Sylacauga; two sisters, Ann Bryant of Childersburg and Carolyn Cummings. In addition, she leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are DeWayne DeLee, Scott Sims, Kevin Gooden, Rand Beasley, Chris Fowler and Billy DeLee. Junior DeLee will serve as Honorary Pallbearer. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel, Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
