Kenneth W. Brasher

Funeral service for Kenneth W. Brasher will be Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Baird officiating. Burial will follow at Weogufka 2nd Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the funeral home.

Mr. Brasher passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lottie Mae Brasher. He was a veteran of the US Army. He worked 14 years for the Shelby County Sheriffs office and retired after 30 years with the Sylacauga Police Department where he was known as Capt. Brasher.

Survivors are his wife, Pat Brasher, daughters, Arilyn Brasher, Tiffany Robertson (Charles), son, Keith Brasher, 7 grandchildren, sister-in-law, Suzanne Teeple (Roger), niece, Brittany Ashworth (Jesse), great niece, Addy Ashworth, great nephew, Easton Ashworth and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Roger Teeple, Jesse Ashworth, Joe Davidson, Josh Batson, Wayne Murchison, Johnny Turney.

Honorary pallbearers are Victor Mooney and Blue Barnes.
