Sylacauga, AL. - Laura Frances "Nannie" Ward, age 97, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Laura is survived by her two sons, Ernie Ward (Faye), Rick Ward; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; thirteen great great-grandchildren; and close family friends, Karen Portwood and Allison Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. W. Ward; grandson, Michael Ward; grandchild, Haigen Thrash; brother, Johnny Pearson and sister, Edna Pinkston.
A visitation for Laura will be Saturday, January 27, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Josh Bell and Bro. Steve Heartsill officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Osbourn, Adam Goins, Brandon Goins, Carter Goins, Jason Ward, and Logan Ward.
She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
