LaVerne Moss (Varner)

LaVerne Moss (Varner), age 86, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away in Rainsville on Friday, December 25, 2020. LaVerne was born August 14, 1934 to Thelma Adell (Mizzell) Price and Marion Huffman Price.

LaVerne is survived by daughter Lynda Moss Johnson (Waymon); and son David Moss (Judy); brother Ted Price (Betty) and brother Merrill Price (Barbara); grandchild Christy Guy Harris (Dallas), grandchild Matthew Guy (Lauren), grandchild Tammy Coker (Wayne), and her great grandchildren Hudson Guy, Hal Coker and Saxon Coker.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband Kennard Moss and husband Johnny Varner; father Marion Huffman Price and mother Thelma Adell (Mizzell) Price.

A special thanks goes to special friend Latona Gray and SCNB Hospice of Scottsboro.

A graveside service for LaVerne will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery with Bro. Wes Johnson officiating.
