Leland David McDonald

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Leland David McDonald, 74, will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valley View Church of God with Rev. Keith Owensby, Rev. Kenneth McDonald, Rev. Bill Lutz, and Rev. Jim Whisnaut officiating. Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. McDonald died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mary McDonald; brother, Billy McDonald; brother, Wallace (Buddy) McDonald; brother, Owen McDonald; sister, Mary Gallops; and sister, Mildred Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Marie McDonald; daughter, Angela (Steve) Pearson of Sylacauga; three sons, Stacey Arnold of Sylacauga, Phillip McDonald of San Antonio, T.X., and Bryant McDonald of Sylacauga; seven grandchildren, Brandon Acklin, Ashley Arnold (Will) Martin, Allissa Arnold, Jonie McDonald, Gavin McDonald, Alona Pearson, and Jordyn McDonald; two brothers, Kenneth McDonald and Robert McDonald; two sisters, Peggy Armstrong and Brenda Baxley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Bryon McDonald, Scott McDonald, Rev. Paul McDonald, Richard McDonald, Brad Bearden, and Michael Joiner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry DeLee, Ellis DeLee, Larry DeLee, Greg McDonald, Brian McDonald, and David Winslett.
