Mrs. Lena Blair Sims, age 98 of Sylacauga, died January 2, 2011 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Sims; son, Billy Morgan Sims, Sr.; grandson, Charles Everett Sims; daughter-in-law, Ruth Sims; parents, Daniel C. and Octavia Sims. She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Carolyn) Sims of Sylacauga, AL and John Terry Sims, Sr. of Fayetteville, AL; 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Johnny Sims, John T. Sims, Jr., Rocky Sims, Andrew Sanchez, Brian Sims, and Morgan Sims, Jr. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 1 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
